Why living in Spain has changed my life ?

I arrived to Spain with many prejudices.
First of all, I didn't speak one word of Spanish. Then, I didn't plan to live in Malaga, it just happened. I found en internship there.
And before I left France for Spain, I've been advised about how poor is the south of Spain, how dangerous is it and how the economical crisis had affected badly the region.
Actually, I needed one week to realize it was BULLSHIT.
Just one small week to understand that I was way happier than in France.
I was fucking happy to wake up every morning with sun, fucking happy to run at the seaside everyday, fucking happy to be able to go to the restaurant as often as I wanted and to be dressed however I want without any fears.
Malaga dangerous ?
Let me laugh... it's safer for a woman to come back home drunk at 6am in Malaga, than just to walk in the street during the day in Paris.
I learnt how to love Spain and how to speak spanish. And it had been incredibly easy and fast.
Spain remained me how to simply LIVE : I mean, going to restaurant without being scared to the bill, going to the gym everyday because it's sunny and I have time to take care of myself, speaking with people I don't know because it's normal.
Gosh it is so good and for nothing I would come back to live in Paris.
Because in Paris, We are not living ... we are surviving.
